As part of the ongoing recognition of the Epsilon Gamma chapters 75th Anniversary at the University of Maryland, a new scholarship fund has been established, known as the "Hasslinger-Jones Fund." The fund is named after the first president of the chapter, Harry Hasslinger, and the first president of the re-colonized chapter, Joshua Jones. The purpose of the fund will be to provide scholarships to chapter members based on their academic performance and leadership in the chapter and on campus. It will also be used to fund recruitment scholarships for incoming potential new members. The scholarships may be offered for use at school or for attending leadership training both within the ATO National scope and beyond. Finally, it will also assist in recognizing the scholastic achievements of members at the Fall Scholarship event.
The chapter needs the help of all its loyal alumni to make this fund a reality. All donations to this fund are tax-deductible. The fund is being coordinated with the gracious assistance of the University of Maryland College Park Foundation. Please click the link below to open the ATO Gift Form. On it are a variety of giving options and instructions on how you can help.
Each year this chapter has continued to break through the levels set by their predecessors. They need our help to continue to grow and impact the University of Maryland, the community and the world that they will soon graduate into. Fortunately for them, with the the ties that bind us together, they do not have to do it alone.
